I agree, the blood elves desecrating Arthas like he desecrated Silvermoon should be in this ending. Bolvar’s absolutism of the world better knowing there is no Lich King couldn’t be anymore wrong! Nothing will stop Varian from believing Bolvar’s death is the Horde’s fault. He traded the “tyranny of fear” for worldwide conflict. The tyranny of fear is what brought the alliance and horde to almost be brothers-in-arms. BUT this is WARcraft not Peacecraft so let the PVP commence!

Bolvar was a venerated warrior who in vanilla WoW (Can’t remember about pre BC) Protected the boy king Anduin whily wrynn was missing. He had control over a majority of the army and basically protected the kingdom until Wrynn came back.

To be honest his is a fucking insult to Lore and the horde players… Come on you would expect some cleaves from saurfang or something! Ah.. The eyes of arthas once returning again yet forgiveness not given.. But come on we’re talking about Death itself.. I’ll be enjoying to see how Arthas is defeated in 3.3.2 which is released tonight.. Shall be interesting.

Bolvar basically sacrificed himself in order to keep the Scourge from getting completely out of hand on Azeroth. He argues that Tirion and Co. have something to live for while his (Bolvar’s) life is over — he died, he was burned completely by the red dragons, everyone already believes he’s dead. He’s the prime candidate to make for the sacrifice of becoming the new Lich King.

So what is the conection betwen Bolvar and Deathwing?

  11. by crashstream, on February 3 2010 @ 3:04 am

Sorry Bolvar i’m gonna return anyway

  12. by Sepiroth11, on February 3 2010 @ 3:05 am

But aren’t the red dragons the good guys? Why would they try to kill an Alliance hero?

  13. by Riku1495, on February 3 2010 @ 3:06 am

In Runescape Zamorak was like a Lich King. And zamorak should be in wow to repalce the guys dat was burning.

    Fucking retarded.

  15. by balkthor, on February 3 2010 @ 3:09 am

It’s nothing to do with Deathwing. He’s all burned because, if you remember from the wrathgate cinematic, the Red Dragonflight basically burned the ground to a crisp, including Bolvar’s body.

  16. by misswarpants, on February 3 2010 @ 3:12 am

    Amazing Cin.

  23. by tshives06, on February 3 2010 @ 3:47 am

I don’t get it. How does he become the lich king without frostmourne? Frostmourne is broken during the fight, thats why its not lootable. However; I love how ice covers bolvar, when he is all flames. ( Now is that nehzul talking in the end, or bolvar ” telling them to never return?” ) This all seems so wierd. Now that bolvar is the lich king, won’t he become corrupted over the scourge, and lead the scourge to destroy azeroth?

  24. by mjt1517, on February 3 2010 @ 3:56 am

    It’s the helmet, not Frostmourne.
