Arthas, you may have won the battle, but you shall not win the War, for now, the light of the world will shine once again, after your great demise, your body shall be cleansed of the Lich Kings Iron Hold upon your body and be laid to rest

    From your Humble Master
    Da Zohan XD

R.I.P. Arthas. May your memory live on, but your deeds be lain to rest. May you find salvation with whatever god you believed in, if any, and may your soul see the light of “heaven”.

Arthas, son of King Terrenas Menathil II, True King of Lorderon, you have been brought to the sight of the Alliance and Horde to be put to death, on the 3rd of February, your sentence shall be carried out swiftly, and abruptly ending your life, Ner’Zhul, if you can hear me, you shall die upon that day

OKAY> Arthas IS the Lich King. He kills off his remaining humanity and the spirit of ner’zhul. When we kill him it will be because of his free will to kill his once called allies and friends. Bolvar will sacrifice himself and become the new Lich King to control the scourge. but with a Paladin’s will to keep his heart.

PS- @ Alwuwa I HIGHLY doubt someone will kill the Lich King the first week he is released, seeing as the fight is unknown and people are still unable to kill the Blood Queen

What do you mean unable to kill the blood queen? We didnt have any problems 😛

Does anyone else think they will cry if this starts playing during the Arthas fight? I really think I will. I’m being serious, it is hopefully a very emotional fight.

It’d be nice if Arthas, or… the Lich King right before possible death when the raid group of people attack him he remembers his past and somehow defeats the lich king, and takes the burden of wealding the sacrafice to control the undead scourge so they would not destroy the world giving an ultimate sacrifice, than defeat the scourge in an epic battle, than at his last moments of his life see’s jania and dies, to bad thats not going to happen… i think it could have been truelly epic…

well actually, the lich kings spirit inside Arthes is dead because Arthes had “slain” him in a vision (and also the last piece of humanity in him). So Arthes got the former lich kings power and then killed him so he was in total control of himself.

wartich is right! As it was written in the book “Rise of the Lich King” in the last chapter the orc shaman Ner’Zhul told Arthas in a dream to slay the rest of his humanity in the person of a little child (propably Arthas when he was young). Arthas did so with great pleasure. As Ner’zhul saw this he promissed great power to Arthas. But against the orc’s assumption A. didn’t fuse with him, but killed the shaman as well. By doing so A. got even greater power and kept full control over his mind!

Awesome. This musical masterpiece reminds one of how the Lich King used to be just a man; a young prince of Lordaeron, full of fine promises… A stark contrast to the cold, heartless, godlike being he has become.

To me, this tune represents a memeroy of what Arthas – the Lich King – used to be, and maybe, just maybe, still is…

i think they said at blizzcon that there will be a cinematic of the lich kings death and i hope we see arthas suddenly break through the will of the lich king and we see the single body with two minds tear itself apart.
